Since the 1st of January 2023, our service pricing structures changed. Why did we change our pricing structures?
The hosting industry entered an era where low disk usage plans are no longer considered to be the norm. With terabytes of space at our disposal, offering low-usage plans are a thing of the past.
For instance, previously our hosting plans started at 0.5 GB of space. Now, our lowest disk space plan will be 5 GB. We believe our customers will also benefit from having more space at their disposal at a lower cost.
What will happen to my existing plan?
We understand that you may be perfectly happy with the resources currently allocated to your plan and you don’t want to change just yet. For this reason, we conveniently renamed all existing services the same as our new services, however, you will see (Legacy) behind your service name if you still make use of the old resource and pricing structures.
Please note the following restrictions regarding Legacy Service Plans & Pricing:
- All legacy service plans are locked. You will not be able to rename a legacy service domain name.
- Because legacy plans are locked, we cannot temporarily allocated additional resources to legacy plans.
- It is not possible to upgrade or downgrade between legacy service plans. You can only upgrade/downgrade to a plan on our new structure from 1 January 2023.
- We are unable to refund/credit legacy plans if you cancel before your service expiration date.
However, “Affordable” – is a term that has been as misused as it has been misunderstood.
